Mark Blahnik

Mark Blahnik has eighteen years of recruiting and hands-on recruiting management experience. He has recruited for a full range of positions from entry-level college students up through senior executives. He has recruited in the public, private, and government sectors. His industry recruiting experience includes telecommunications, software, consulting, services, engineering, healthcare, banking, insurance, manufacturing, construction, and publishing. He has held four Director of Recruiting positions for large corporations. Mark has also been an Operations Manager for a multifaceted private company and Director of Account Management for the banking group of a large, publicly traded software and consulting firm.

Jim Garton

I was born in Denver and have lived in the metro Denver Area my whole life. I attended Jefferson County Elementary, Junior and High Schools. After Graduation from High School I attended CSU, CU and DU. I went to many IBM and Sperry "boot camps" for computer training. Also, I had many training classes for professional management at Mountain States Employee Council where I received their "Professional Leadership " Award.

I retired from the Denver Water Department in 2001 after 36 years of service. My career at Denver Water (DW) consisted of managing the Data Processing / Information Technology Department. I was responsible for all the business and scientific applications along with managing the staff, software and hardware for the department. During my career at DW, I was President of the Employees Association for two 3 year terms, President of Denver Water Bowling League and President of Denver Water Softball League. I also coached and played for the IT Department Softball Team where we won two company championships . I founded and chaired the Employees Recognition Award Program for 8 years. I served as an officer on many professional IT business organizations in the Denver Area while employed at Denver Water.

The day after retiring from Denver Water, I started working part time for the Colorado Rockies. I am currently the supervisor of the Rockpile Section.

I was the Columbine Baseball Director for Jefferson County and was the head baseball coach for division one league champions for 12, 13 and 14 year old boys (The 14 year old boys I coached went on to play at Columbine HS that won the 1987 State Championship).

I was the head basketball coach and referee for Columbine and Chatfield area boys 9 -15 year old teams. Also, I was the defensive coordinator and coach for Columbine / Jefferson County Football League for 6 years. My 13 year old boys football team won the Jefferson County Carnation Bowl Championship.

I am a Charter member of the Chatfield Rotary Club.

I am married and have two sons, three Granddaughters , one Grandson and one Great Grandson.

I am a huge Denver Bronco Football fan with season tickets since 1968. During this time period I have only missed 5 games.

I currently work for Triad Consultants as VP of Business Development , an IT staffing agency. I have been with Triad since 2002. My primary area for IT staffing in the government sector. This includes State and local governments along with school districts and some private sector companies. I participate in the Rocky Mountain Information Management Association (RMIMA)and sponsor a booth at the State Colorado Information Management Association Conferences.
